VIDEO of Kenyan Male University Student Head-Butting Girl Inside Hostel Room Sparks Outrage Online

A video of two University students engaging in a physical altercation has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage from Kenyans.

In the clip, a male and a female student are seen arguing inside a hostel room in a yet to be established University. The two are in company of other school mates who watch as they argue.

The two are arguing over a love relationship if words heard from them is anything to go by. Things get out of hand when the female student pushes her male counterpart, who is approaching her.

Irked by the push, the male student holds the female's hands and headbutts her on the face. The lady appears to have lost conscious after the headbutt even as one of the schoolmates supports her.

Another schoolmate is seen quickly whisking out the angry male student out of the hostel room.

Kenyans online have called for arrest of the male student while others said the female student should equally be apprehended for starting the fight.

"That’s so dangerous from the boy.
Two wrongs don’t make a right," Kennedy Anunda said.

"This are the kindly of learners coming out of the education system nowadays….very indisciplined and total societal misfits. I pity the poor man,"@anundah_andrew noted.

" Both parties are arrestible and chargeable." @Fred_njagih quipped.

"Hii ni krimino..that boy should be arrested, kwani that soft hand she stretched coz he said f** you warranted a crazy response from him? No!he had an option of simply restraining her..we cant allow this on our daughters..No!" Nabalayo Masafu tweeted.

"Huyu atakuwa Jowie in future,"@SteveJumaaa said.

wote ni krimino....let not the boy carry the burden. its the lady who started it...and as a matter of fact you just can't start what you can't finish. The boy child has rights too..

May be the fellow is not out of the woods yet. Abig brother would not be too happy to see his little sister rammed by a man...
Good thing it was caught on camera
For those who are saying that both should be charged are legally correct, but "customary wrong".A mere push from a small woman is not the same as a headbutt from an enraged testosterone driven "billy".

@Maxiley you are right, this dude holds the wrists of this poor girl who for some reason does not anticipate what's coming next. This I think is what makes it even more dangerous because she can not protect herself. This is painful to watch and something should be done about the aggravated assault.

The moment we spared the rod,we spoiled everything...children can now do as they please and when they get to university, the are already rotten...this is no issue..big issues are coming

both should be arrested to cover up the Lady hence the boy should be changed.
at least to act as example to the other students who are planing to do the same mistake.

I actually saw this in a Watsup group at first.... the boy is so unmanly he had no reason at all beat her like that... those that were there taking videos instead of doing something positive shud know tht they have incriminated their selves too....that is bad

@whothefuckcarez, it is not a small issue. If arrested the dude will spend time in jail. When argument get heated walk away to cool down. Never do something when you are so angry because you will regret it.

The boy is the who started the fight by csaying "f**k u" and the gal felt insulted. Home if you call someone f word it's a something huge to them. The boy should grow up and know how to walk away. You can't just hit a gal like a ball. Shame on him.

I do really support the boychild have you seen the way the girl had a rough touch on his face but also the boy had a self defence.why should we just be even mocked as boy child everything is just right for girl child even if it was wrong no.WE HAVE TO CONSIDER THIS ISSUE OF BOY CHILD THEN

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord leads to life. As a student, the best way to avoid this is to have a constant fellowship with the Lord. Being a university student is a blessing. I'm equally a university student and I'm aware of the experience the students undergo. Students who come to salvation have a positive fate. Those who reject salvation will constantly fall victims of such a situation. So let's revere the Lord and ask Him for forgiveness of our sins.

I think hawa jamaa wanasema the boy should be arrested ni wenye wanapenda wasichana zaidi kujiliko..the boy child also has the right,if it is to be arrested let it be in both parties, the girl is the course of all that fight,ai wasee msipendelee pande moja.

Gitau mwangi (not verified)     Mon, 10/08/2018 @ 03:13am

Aaaai wasee msipendelee pande moja, the boy child has got a right also, kama nikuchukuliwa hatua let it be on both parties, the girl is the main course of all that, wanaume wenye wanasema cjui the boy is not a man...hao ni wenye hupenda hawa warembo zaidi ya wao..

Equality for all.Women demands their rights, well, expects the lefts and head butts too. I don’t condon any sort of violence but whenever you initiate an action, expect a reaction

The guy needs to be arrested..... even if the girl started the fight it's the boy who started the whole drama.....after all there was nothing big the girl did to deserve what she got.... so boy... should be charged ndo iwe mfano kwa wengine kama yeye.....I love Kenya coz they how to dealt with such cases...
