Tanzania Singer Diamond Platnumz's Mother Reacts to Her Son's Rushed Wedding to Kenyan Girlfriend Tanasha Donna

Tanzania star singer Diamond Platnumz's mother, Bi Sanura Sandra, has denied claims that she is opposed to her son's rushed wedding to his new Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna.

Ms Sanura says she fully supports her son's decision, adding that the age difference between the two would be good for a couple. The two have dated for the last two months.

“Kama mwanangu amemuona anamfaa basi nipo radhi amuoe maana umri wake unaendana na umri wa kumuoa,” Bi Sandra says.

Tanasha, who is a presenter at NRG Radio, is aged 22, while the award-winning bongo flavor musician is 29. Last week, the singer said he plans to walk down the aisle on February 14th, 2019.

"I have set February 14,2019 as my wedding date. The ceremony will last four days. Valentine’s Day will fall on a Thursday; so, the wedding ceremony will take place on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That is my preliminary arrangement. If anything would come up, forcing me to change the dates, I will communicate that in good time," said Diamond in an interview with Wasafi TV.

The wedding will come exactly one year after Diamond was dumped by his former girlfriend, Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.
