Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo Tells Off MP Moses Kuria for Asking President Uhuru to 'Wacha Ujinga'

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has hit out at Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria for accusing President Kenyatta of using Central Kenya residents as 'voting machines.'

In a video that has gone viral online, a seemingly tipsy Kuria accuses Kenyatta of neglecting his backyard on development projects.

Kuria says Kenyatta goes to Nyanza and other regions that did not vote for him to launch development projects but issues useless certificates to rehabilitated alcohol addicts when he tours Kiambu.

“We can no longer accept to be treated the way we are being treated. When the President goes to other places, he launches development projects but here in our county he only gives certificates of [rehabilitated] alcoholics,” Kuria says.

“We cannot be voting politicians into power and they take development projects elsewhere. We should stop that nonsense. Water, roads and electricity projects are launched in other areas.”

“Munene atige gutukuwa wana (The president should stop taking us for granted),” Kuria says amid cheers from the crowd during a New Year concert held at Thika Stadium.

Taking to Twitter, Kabogo has told off Kuria for disrespecting President Kenyatta.

“How can Moses Kuria say that Uhuru Kenyatta should wacha ujinga. Shame on him!” tweets Kabogo to which Kuria replies saying; “Endelea kunitafuta tu. Sina shughuli na wewe.”

Kuria is only publicizing what is public knowledge among folks in the Kikuyu nation. And Kuria is the right person to do it and did it with precision. This is in line with a murathe claim (a few days ago)that Uhuruto duo take half-half, DP keeps his half but Uhuru shares his half with the rest of the country. This is the problem of politics of appeasement. Kikuyu nation has a lot of thinking to do before 2022; otherwise the whole block will be on wholesale price.

As drunk as Kuria was he spoke the truth. What is certificate of kumi kumi that was given to githeri man and his colleague?

Whether drunk or sober,Kuria smoke the truth. Gatundu constituency lags behind in many areas despite producing 2 presidents. The infrastructure is an eye sore. All feeder roads from Gatundu town are not different from the farms. Ask the residents of Gatundu North.

This is utter buffoonery. What is the role of the leaders who were mandated by the Central Kenya electorate to oversee their concerns? I find this attack on the president quite unorthodox.Shame on this weed man, Kuria.

Moses Kuria is right. There is a major crisis blowing on in Central Kenya. The people of Central Kenya put all their eggs in one basket and if that basket falls all their eggs will crush. There is no representation whatsoever from the people they elected. Take Nyandarua County for instance, the people there gave Uhuru Kenyatta 99.9% of their votes yet Uhuru has not initiated any development in the seven years he has been a president. Nyandarua County is one of the most marginalized counties in the country, second only to Turkana County-The County was better off under British rule. It remains frozen since the British left with their promising leaders such JM Kariuki being killed. Truth be told!!!. The people of Central Kenya are tired of being used like toilet papers!!!
