Miss Universe Kenya 2019: Stacy Michuki Crowned as Singer Akothee's Daughter Finishes 2nd

The second-born daughter of Kenyan musician Esther Akoth, alias Akothee, finished in the 1st runners up position in the 2019 Miss Universe Kenya competition.

21-year-old Agrrey Dion Okello, alias Rue Baby, was among the 15 contestants who made it to the final stage of the competition.

Stacy Michuki was crowned Miss Kenya Universe 2019 during the event held at Nairobi’s Panari Hotel on Sunday night. 

Rue Baby, who was the face of Nivea two years ago, took to social media to thank her supporters for believing in her.

“It was such a wonderful and memorable moment of my life having shared the platform with these beautiful ladies. All the journey begins with just a step and I’m grateful for having come this far. Of course not forgetting your major support and great wishes,’ she wrote.

Her mother Akothee could not hide her joy and she took to social media to congratulate her daughter.

“Eiiish my friend see my uterus🙆♂️🙆♂️🙆♂️ vere vere clean, this baby of mine should just walk thrith naked , @rue.baby you do me proud , I see you my heart pumps ❤❤❤, at your age I was a mother of 3 only a disgrace to my parents, climbing all types of fence ,looking for boyfriend’s my friend walk with your head too if you want.”

“I will still support you , thank you for being disciplined and self-motivated, with no supervision!” wrote Akothee in part.
