Tuju to be Discharged from a London Hospital

Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju is set to be discharged from a London hospital next week and return home.
Tuju, who was flown to the United Kingdom on February 19th for advanced treatment, will return to the country on Wednesday, March 4th, according to former Jubilee Chairman David Murathe.
Speaking at a Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rally in Meru on Saturday, Murathe said Tuju had recovered from the injuries he suffered in a road accident earlier this month.
"Tuju is coming back on Wednesday, he is now healed," Murathe said.
Tuju, who also serves as a Cabinet Secretary without a portfolio, was traveling to Kabarak, Nakuru County for the burial of the late former president Daniel Arap Moi on February 12th when his vehicle collided head-on with a matatu at Magina area on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway.
He was rushed to Kijabe Mission Hospital for emergency treatment and later airlifted to Karen Hospital in Nairobi, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) for one week before flying abroad for specialized treatment.
