Kenya Embassy in Washington, DC Suspends Walk-in Passport Renewal and ID Registration Services until Further Notice

The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Washington, DC has suspended walk-in services at the Embassy in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak in the US and other parts of the world.
Beginning Monday, March 16th, 2016 consular walk-in services such as application for e-Passport, Kenya IDs, visas, among other services will be suspended until further notice.
“As a precautionary measure to address the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the walk in services of the Consular section at the Embassy of The Republic of Kenya Washington D.C. including application for e-Passport, Kenya ID’s, Visas etc will remain closed from Monday 16th March 2020 until further notice.”
The Embassy states that the health, welfare and safety of Kenyan living in the US remain a top priority for the Embassy and the Government of Kenya, and urges Kenyans living in and traveling to the US to remain vigilant and adored to the prescribed precaution and prevention guidelines provided by the World Health Organization and the US government.
