Family Demands Justice for Kenyan Graduate's Mysterious Death and Torture in Dubai

The life of Anthony Gichua Kinuthia was cut short under distressing circumstances after venturing to Dubai in pursuit of a brighter future.

In an emotional ceremony at Mangu Kabarak, Tony was laid to rest, surrounded by mourning family and friends. The atmosphere was heavy with sorrow as they gathered to bid farewell to a life that ended far too soon. Tony's sister, Mercy, delivered a poignant tribute that illuminated the deep bond they shared and the profound impact he had on her life. Mercy's words paint a picture of their childhood together, filled with shared moments of joy and sibling camaraderie.

"Tony, as he was fondly known, had such a big life. It's hard to know where to begin. Tony was the closest person to me while growing up. Many of our earliest moments are memories of the two of us playing childhood games, watching the breakfast lab on the TV, and fighting in the car's back seat. Later in life, he was the cool small brother. A big part of my life I have spent with Tony. It's hard to believe he's gone. He was a shining star that burned out too soon," she said.

She spoke of Anthony as a "shining star that burned out too soon," encapsulating the sense of loss felt by all who knew him. A graduate of Chuka University, Anthony's journey to Dubai was meant to be the beginning of a promising new chapter. However, the reality he encountered was starkly different from what he had been led to expect. According to Mercy, Tony fell victim to deception by his travel agent regarding the nature of his employment in Dubai. Instead of the legitimate work he was promised, he found himself entangled in a web of fraudulent jobs and documentation.

The circumstances surrounding Anthony's death are both heartbreaking and infuriating. Mercy reveals that her brother endured severe mistreatment and torture at the hands of Dubai authorities. She vows to seek justice for Anthony and uncover the truth to hold those responsible accountable.

Quite sad indeed! No one deserves to be tortured and killed! May family finds peace, comfort and justice they much desire and deserve .
