Speaking on Friday, October 30, 2026, during the official opening of the party's secretariat in Lavington, Nairobi, Sifuna outlined an extensive political and economic blueprint ahead of the upcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC).

The proposed leadership structure features a party leader supported by four deputies. Sifuna named former Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza and Patrick Makau as deputy party leaders, alongside former Law Society of Kenya President Faith Odhiambo, with a fourth slot reserved for a representative from the Coast region.

Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi was tapped as party chairperson, to be deputised by former Makadara Member of Parliament Reuben Ndolo. Suba South MP Caroli Omondi was fronted for the Secretary General position, with Pauline Njoroge named as his deputy.

Other proposed officials include Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka as national treasurer, deputised by Abigael Gikonyo, and Boni Khalwale as Secretary for Political Affairs, who is also slated to run for the Kakamega governorship under the party's ticket. Kari Karani was named Organising Secretary, Francy Kadide for Legal Affairs, Caroline Mayuzu to head the women's league, and Fridah Onduso to lead the youth league.

The team also includes Torome Nalengoyo for minority affairs, Eunice Juma for diaspora affairs, and Gilbert Shanga for international affairs. Sifuna noted that these names will be forwarded to the NDC for formal consideration and endorsement.

Shifting focus to economic policy, Sifuna promised that his administration would implement a 100-day plan centered on eliminating government extravagance and public wastage. He singled out the allocation to State House in the 2026/2027 national budget, which stands at Sh13.54 billion, comprising Sh12.52 billion for recurrent expenditure and Sh1.03 billion for development.

Contrasting this spending with the financial demands of essential services, Sifuna pointed to recent demands by healthcare workers. "How can it be that nurses have been on strike asking for only Sh1.5 billion and State House is allocated Sh13 billion?" he posed.

By curbing such expenditures, Sifuna maintained that the government could save Sh500 billion and return the funds directly to citizens. He pledged that his administration would eliminate taxes on fuel and electricity, as well as the 1.5 per cent monthly affordable housing levy deducted from employees' earnings, to ease the high cost of living.
