Two Kenyan Students Die in a Car Accident in Australia

Two Kenyan students living in Australia tragically lost their lives on Sunday night in a car accident in Perth.

The accident occurred on the Tonkin Highway in Gosnells after the vehicle they travelled in veered off the road and collided with a tree. Footage shared on the internet shows the car engulfed in flames after the accident. The video was recorded by people at the scene who attempted to rescue the two students. The intense fire presented major obstacles for the police and local officials. The students from Nandi County have been identified as the victims.

In Kenya, in the early hours of Monday, at 1 am, a bus heading towards Nairobi caught fire along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway in the Kanga Area, Makueni County. The bus, which had departed from Mombasa, ignited near the Tsavo National Park. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Eastern Regional Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan confirmed the incident and stated that all the occupants of the bus were safely rescued by law enforcement officers. The passengers, assisted by the police, were also able to retrieve their belongings from the bus before the fire spread uncontrollably.
