Over 50 Luxury Cars Worth Sh600 Million Destroyed in Nairobi's Malik Heights Inferno [PHOTOS]

Alhusnain Motors Limited is counting losses running into millions of shillings following Monday night inferno at Malik Heights along Ngong Road in Nairobi.

The fire broke out immediately after pockets of explosions were heard from the nine-storey business complex at around 8 pm.

A team of firefighters spent hours trying to extinguish the fire and managed put it off at around midnight.

Various outlets report that more than 50 luxury vehicles estimated to be worth Sh600 million went up in flames.

Citizen Digital said the high-end cars include the latest models of Lexus, Toyota Prado, and Mercedes Benz.

The building opened two years ago houses car bazaars, offices, restaurants among other commercial premises.

The cause of the fire, which reportedly originated on the ground floor, is yet to be established.
