Police Probe Mysterious Death of Kisii Central OCPD Who Was Found Dead Inside His Car

Police have opened an investigation into the mysterious death of Kisii Central ODCP Saimon Gababa.

Gababa was found dead inside his vehicle outside at his home in Kisii’s Milimani estate on Saturday morning.

This came a day after he coordinated a team of officers that provided security at the burial of the late Engineer Barnabas Ariga. 

Junior officers said their boss was communicating with them through phone calls throughout the day.

The body was moved to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary as investigations into the cause of his death continue.

Early this month, Nairobi’s Huruma OCS Simon Ndeti was found dead in his house where he lived alone.

Pangani deputy OCPD William Sirego said Ndeti had earlier in the day visited Nairobi West Hospital where he was treated and discharged.

Ndeti had been recently transferred to Nairobi from Karatina where he served in the same capacity.
