Stranded Kenyans Given Until Sunday 8 pm to Enter or Exit COVID-19 Red Zone

Kenyans wishing to enter or exit the region that was placed under partial lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 have been given until Sunday at 8 pm to travel.
After this, no one will be allowed to travel into or out of the One Zoned Area comprising Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, and Nakuru counties.
Addressing the press on Saturday, government spokesperson Cyrus Oguna said the move is aimed at allowing Kenyans stranded away from their workplaces and homes to travel.
Kenyans seeking medical treatment within the disease-zoned area and those traveling for burial purposes will be required to obtain a permit from the nearest police station.
“We know that some of us were locked out or inside the five counties, but the government in its wisdom has decided the Government has allowed for a transition period until tomorrow 28th March 2021 outside the curfew period. This applies to college students as well,” said Oguna.
President Kenyatta declared a cessation of movement into and out of the region following a spike in COVID-19 infections, saying that the five counties account for 70 percent of the country’s total caseload.
“…These counties are individually and collectively declared a disease-infected area. There shall be a cessation of all movement by road, rail, or air into and out of the disease-infected areas,” said Uhuru.
Those in the One Zoned area can move freely within the five counties but are not allowed to leave.

Colonel Oguna - can you personally have a stern word with MP Ndindi Nyoro to stop putting the residents of Kiharu in muranga county in danger for holding some self serving meeting under the new lock down rules?
This kid man is stupid; literally to the letters of the word FOOLISH! How does he expect Kenyans to respect him if indeed he can’t respect a directive put out by the president? Is this childish mp acting under the instructions of Ruto the tanga tanga master? Ghee weee - how stupid can these silly MPs get?
I hate to see a ignorant young mp acting like a little baby who does not understand the serious nature of COVID 19 and the dangers he is posing to others for holding public rallies in a COVID 19 environment! Is Nyoro not intelligent enough to understand the dangers of this Covid 19? No wonder Uhuru is appointing military men who understand the rules to enforce them!
How can an elected law make violate the laws he himself is supposed to make, honor and respect? I don’t get it!!
