Ruto Leads Raila in the Latest Opinion Poll

Ruto Leads Raila in the Latest Opinion Poll

Deputy President William Ruto would emerge victorious if a presidential election was held today, a new survey shows.

Ruto would garner 38 percent of the votes cast ahead of his main competitor Raila Odinga (27 percent), according to the latest opinion poll by Trends & Insights for Africa (TIFA).

The poll released on Thursday shows there would be a run-off as none of the presidential candidates would attain the requisite 50 percent plus one vote.

To be declared a winner in round one, a presidential candidate is required to bag 50 percent of all votes cast in the election plus one vote, and at least 25 percent of the votes cast in more than half of the 47 counties.

The survey lists ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi (27 percent) as the perceived ‘best’ running mate for Ruto followed by Ann Waiguru (15 percent), Rigathi Gachagua (11 percent), and Kalonzo Musyoka (8 percent).

On the other hand, Peter Kenneth (41 percent), Kalonzo Musyoka (18 percent), Martha Karua (13 percent), and Charity Ngilu (5 percent) are the perceived ‘best’ running mates for Raila.

Ruto has teamed up with Mudavadi and Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula to form the ‘Kenya Kwanza’ alliance ahead of the August 9th elections.

Raila, a former prime minister, is giving his fifth stab at the presidency under the ‘Azimio La Umoja’ movement.

The latest TIFA survey was conducted between February 3rd and 9th.

This TIFA is a new pollster, no face and no address. Any meaningful poll in Kenya must aggregate results by County, with margin of error in each County. This business of polling 200 persons from one County and calling it a national poll is just a way to get international funding.

This is Fake a pollster!!!. This is the same pollster which did a poll three years ago and found Kenyan geneticist Dr. Koni Hanene as the third most electable person in Kenya behind Raila Odinga and William Ruto even though Dr. Hanene is only known in Siaya. All pollsters in Kenya are extremely corrupted and work for the highest bidder

Which country are you guys leaving at? I know it’s not easy to gauge things when you are leaving outside the country!

kenyan voters are disturbingly attracted to thieves thieves/criminals. So UDA is palpable and is being echoed all over the country right now! He has more supporters in Meru than any other region ( 95%)! Sad to be bearer of bad news but worse thieves will be running our country as from August.

And that will change soon! Ruto is not done body to hand over leadership and power to. He is too greedy and insecure!

@ Mugikuyu:

It is so unfair that Samoei has used state resources for the past five years campaigning everywhere in the nation and going to fake houses of worship bribing the men and women of cloth practically every Sunday. He should be immediately disqualified and asked to reimburse the state for the money that he used instead of assisting the president Ndugu Uhuru Ngina Kamau build the entire nation. Shame on you Samoei!

@ Mugīkūyū, am on the ground right now, crisscrossing counties, I dare to bet with you that stupid and gullible Kenyans will vote for this thief in masses! They hate Uhuru so much so, such that they are emphatic and drawn towards Rutoh. They way people reason in this country is shocking!

@ Mugikuyu, now look yours truly Baba has been locked into campaign mode for some 20 or more years. He claims to have won some of the elections and votes stolen. If we assume that he had won for example even the last election, his popularity rate right away should be at least 50% plus one. And ideally by now he should have been rated at 70%plus. The sad thing is that he is starting at below 30%! What does it tell you?
Ruto is in for the first time and he is ahead of the polls. I know it’s hard for you but give credit where it belongs.

If your Baba had won the past two or three elections as he alleges, then he should be starting his poll with 50% plus one. Now he should be at 70% plus. This poll even though I don’t agree with it much proves an alibi.

You need 50% plus 1 to prevail. 38% after so much investment into the campaign will not cut it. Statistically, Raila will carry the day. Remember between 45% to 48% of Raila diehards are still in Kenya as voters. It means he only needs approximately 5% plus 1 to win. The 5% will come from Central Province (which has not supported him previously). As such, the goose in already cooked.

@ Nooooo

SILENCE AND LIES ARE DANGEROUS AND DEADLY

The late Brother Mpilo Tutu of South Africa once said, "If you are silent in situations of injustice, you have taken the side of the oppressor."
I have tremendous respect for Brother Keter for being bold and courageous enough to expose a member of his own micro nation (Nandi) who is an incorrigible liar (there are no cows in Cong DR) and a serial thief.
Just imagine if this serial thief becomes the president of Kenya 2022!
@ Nooooo, please tell us how this serial thief is going to correct the many ills that are afflicting the youth of Kenya.
Now, the Chinese are busy taking charge of the global economy while your friend is busy distributing the stone age "wheelbarrows" to his blind and loyal sycophants!

Best presidential candidate of Kenya
Professor Kivutha Kibwana has been rated to be the best governor in all the 47 counties of our beloved nation. He can do the same to the Republic of Kenya as the next president come August 9, 2022.
The purpose of this post is to request Brother Raila and Brother Samoei to step down as presidential candidates and allow Kibwana to run unopposed.
I am quite confident that he will turn Kenya into a new and prosperous nation.
