Kenyans Must Unyoke Themselves from the Stranglehold of Kenyatta and Odinga Families, Jimi Wanjigi Says
Businessman Jimi Wanjigi has accused President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga of trying to block his presidential bid.
Addressing the press in Nairobi on Tuesday, Wanjigi vowed he will not be bullied into dropping out of the presidential race, stating that his name will be on the ballot on August 9th.
"I want to assure Kenyans that I will be on the ballot and where I'll be is where the next government will be formed. It will be a government of the people and for the people of Kenya," Wanjigi stated.
He added: "Mr. Odinga is in cohort with President Kenyatta and they want to stop my presidential bid in any whatever means, I will not be cowed.”
The businessman further hit out at Kenyatta and Odinga families, accusing them of feeling entitled and subjecting Kenyans to bad leadership.
"It is a critical moment that all Kenyans collectively stand up and unyoke themselves from the stranglehold of the Kenyatta and Odinga families. The two families feel entitled and privileged while treating Kenyans as their subjects...," Wanjigi said.
"At independence, we inherited a dangerous and destructive virus it has been mutating, today we are being told there are two horses, nothing can be further from the truth. The two horses are nothing but the second generation of the original virus that is mutating to a third variant it is another 60 years of slavery in the making.”
Wanjigi is seeking to run for president on an ODM ticket, but the Odinga-led party has denied him as a party delegate ahead of its National Delegates Convention (NDC) scheduled for February 25th and 26th.

@Bwana Biwott very well said. This guy crying wolf is part of the dynasty and has been the biggest beneficiary of government tenders. Uhuru however and his clonies have taken over those tenders and he is pissed off to say the least.He is hoping the chicken thief/land grabber and Arror and Kimwelel dam scandal chief architect will give him back his tenders where air continues to be supplied. Calling him a business man is taking it a little bit too far.

Jimi Wanjigi is one of the most confused politician I have ever come across. He is not a strategist at all!!!!. Initially I thought he knew what he was doing but oh boy was I wrong. He keeps on making blunder after blunder!!!

Stop insisting on a party that does not want you form you own and run if you are confident you will win. All dreams are valid but you will not be the next president of Kenya even with all your billions it takes more than that. Furthermore most kenyans have never even heard of you
