Odinga, who is giving his fifth stab at the presidency, would garner 42 percent of the votes cast ahead of his main competitor Deputy President William Ruto whose popularity stands at 39 percent. Root Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah came in third, with four percent of respondents saying they would vote for him.

The survey conducted between June 25th and 30th found that 10 percent of Kenyans are yet to decide which presidential candidate they will vote for while five percent failed to respond.

80 percent of Odinga’s supporters are satisfied with Martha Karua as his choice of running mate while 62 percent of Ruto’s supporters backed the choice of Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate, according to the poll.

The poll further shows that Odinga, 77, stood out as the most preferred candidate in the Coast, Lower eastern, Nairobi, Nyanza, South Rift, and Western regions. On the other hand, Ruto is the most preferred candidate in the Central Rift, Mt Kenya, and Nothern regions.

RaRua team should take this. We can not have thieves looting the country dry year after year. Time to try this Baba man. Kenya is on edge and time is of the essence.

All we want is peace and then development. I believe the Raila/Karua team will deliver that to the Kenyans. It looks like the other team's only concern is how they will unlock the billions frozen due to suspected fraud/theft.

The ground is more in favor of RAO because Kenyans will not vote in a crooked person for president. Ruto and theft and corruption are one and the same thing. Its time to clean the house!!

He has always been Media people's president elect and this makes him wonder why he loses eventually to his opponents.I am on the ground in Mt Kenya and the tide has swept him off. Sadly he is actually trialing badly there. He knows it but to keep newspapers in business, they fool and pamper him with what he likes hearing
