Lawyer Danstan Omari Summoned by DCI over Fake Matiangi House Raid Alert

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has summoned lawyer Danstan Omari in connection with an alleged police raid at the home of former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i earlier this month.

Omari, who represents Matiang’i, is required to appear at DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road on Wednesday without fail.

In a letter on Tuesday, detective Michael K. Sang said he is investigating allegations of publication of false information contrary to section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crimes Act 2018.

This is in regard to the alleged invasion and raid of Matiang'i’s Karen home on February 9th allegedly by a "battalion" and/or "garrison" of police officers.”

The detective linked the lawyer to the offense.

“I have reasons to believe that you, Danstan Omari, an Advocate of the High court of Kenya, is connected to the offense or has information which can assist me in my investigations,” he said.

Sang warned Omari that failure to avail himself at the DCI headquarters will constitute “an offense liable to prosecution.”

Omari is a lead lawyer in the case where Matiang’i accused police officers of raiding his home at night.

Harassing Matiangi’s lawyer will not solve the prevailing problems in Kenya. Amin is trying to employ the bush Woria tactics which completely destroyed Somalia but they wont work in Kenya.

Omari should take at least 200 lawyers to Idi Amin’s office. The fish is badly rotten from the head all the way to the tail in Kenya. As matter of fact there is no government in Kenya because Ruto is illegally in office. Amin’s summons should be ignored.
