That is Statesmanship, Gachagua Says After Ruto-Raila Truce
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has welcomed Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga’s decision to call off anti-government protests.
Odinga halted the bi-weekly demonstrations after President Ruto invited him and Azimio for dialogue on the issues the coalition has raised, chief among them the high cost of living and reconstitution of the electoral commission.
In a statement, Gachagua said the issues under contention will be resolved through Parliament and in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Kenya.
"I salute Hon Raila Odinga for calling off demonstrations and violence and choosing to pursue his issues in Parliament in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Kenya. That is statesmanship," Gachagua noted.
He added: "Kenya is a country of the rule of law. Violence and destruction of property has no place in our country. It will never be allowed under the leadership of President William Ruto now or in the future."
The deputy president urged Kenyans to resume their normal working routine following the cancellation of the anti-government protests even as he expressed confidence in the country’s economic recovery.
“With the calling off of the demonstrations and violence, I urge all Kenyans to go back to work and resume their businesses with vigor and alacrity,” Gachagua said.
Even with the cancellation of the demos, Gachagua warned that some criminal elements may still lark, adding that police are on high alert to counter any cases of insecurity that may arise.
“Aware that hooligans who were set to take advantage of the chaos to loot and steal could still be prepared to continue, our security officers are vigilant and on full alert,” he added.

We inherited two extremely emotional and decadent institutions from our foreign invaders: two intolerant foreign religions, and a political mantra universally know as "democracy."
The two decadent religions:
The diehard believers of these two religions believe in "superior and inferior" people on earth. The inferior people were subjected to global human trafficking a.k.a. "slavery." The people who started one of the religion that is based on the son of Mariam painted their god to look like them (European). If you read the Bible, Leviticus 25: 44- 46, their god endorses the institution of slavery. If you read Quran 39:95, you will find out that, their god also believes in the institution of slavery.
Both slave based, superior- inferior people believe that it does not matter what you do on earth while alive. If you ask for forgiveness just before you die, all your sins will be forgiven and automatic entry into "heaven" guaranteed. That one reason these two religions have many followers and many criminals. The language of these human traffickers has a gender description (s/he). They even have the audacity to identify their "god" as a "he!" On Friday, June 18, 1452, Pope Nicholas the Fifth authorized his followers in Europe (Spain and Portugal) to go to COHO, capture the innocent residents and sell them into slavery. Next, Pope Alexander the sixth established another Papa Bull which granted Spain and Portugal the right to invade the Americas, capture the indigenous people, take their fertile lands, make them slaves, and make them believe in the Son of Mariam as their personal savior. In addition, he authorized Spain and Portugal to invade COHO (Continent Of Human Origins a.k.a. Africa) and engage in the "Atlantic Human Trafficking" a.k.a. Slavery)
Democracy
This political mantra has hidden messages:
1. The majority (whether right or not) imposes their irrational thinking on the minority members of the society.
2. The strong/powerful imposes their value judgement on the weak and defenseless members of the society.
3. Those who have lots of money imposes their myopic opinion towards the poor members of the society.
The current members of UDA are imposing their myopic opinions to the rest of the society. The leader of this party has been religiously hacked and conducts prayers all over the country while imposing his religious values to the entire nation. That is why I believe very strongly that he should be asked to keep his belief system private and personal or leave the office of the presidency immediately.
You cannot mix politics and religion (two very emotional constructs) and expect to have a normal and rational nation.
I challenge the people of Kenya to work together as a one nation, devoid of the two bankrupt political parties (UDA & ODM) and create heaven in Kenya.
