Uhuru Kenyatta's Message to Ruto: No Blame Game, Take Responsibilities

On Sunday, November 19, former President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his disappointment in his successor, William Ruto, for not fulfilling his campaign promises and instead shifting the blame onto his administration.

In the words of Mr Kenyatta, the Kenya Kwanza government under President Ruto has fallen short of the hopes held by the people of Kenya. According to the retired President, it is regrettable that one year into Ruto's tenure, the President and his deputy are holding him responsible for their missteps in economic policies. President Ruto and Deputy Gachagua have voiced accusations that the former president's imprudent borrowing and subsiding consumption are to blame for the struggle being faced by the country's economy.

In October last year, Dr Ruto held Mr Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga responsible for sabotaging the country's economy and causing the surge in living expenses. Additionally, they have accused Mr Kenyatta of poorly governing the nation's economy, claiming that they inherited empty coffers. Accompanied by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Mr Kenyatta visited Mwingi, where he first had a short breakfast meeting with Wiper MPs at Mwingi Cottage Hotel.

In Mwingi town, Mr Kenyatta addressed an impromptu gathering where he reiterated his steadfast backing for the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance which he endorsed during last year's election. Mr Kenyatta advised coalition parties to remain united and band together against any attempts to create division, specifically threats and intimidation. He prioritized leaders' intentions, clearly highlighting how the quest for power should not fog judgments regarding the greater good of the nation.

The former President urged the Kenyan citizens not to engage in partisan politics and instead focus on promoting peace. He also emphasized that every individual in the country has a role to play in the nation's affairs. Earlier, Mr Musyoka stated that if the report from the National Dialogue Committee, which he co-chairs with National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah, fails to adequately address the high cost of living, particularly the price of fuel, he will not endorse it.

The Wiper leader called out Kenya Kwanza for disrespecting Mr. Kenyatta and using intimidation and threats to silence him. The leader emphasized that no barriers are preventing the former president from engaging in political affairs. Wiper lawmakers, led by Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, praised the former president for his numerous development projects in Ukambani and across the nation.

“You warned the country against electing William Ruto as President and all Kenyans are already regretting just one year into his presidency. As you predicted, life has become unbearable under Ruto, even those who voted for him are lamenting” said Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna.

Ndugu Uhuru Ngina Kamau: You are right.

1. When the late President Ndugu Toroitich Kipkorios took over after the death of your father, he never criticized your father. Instead, he came up with a new political slogan known as "NYAYO." This word basically meant that he (Toroitich) was going to follow the footsteps of your father's style of administration.

2. When the late President Mwai Kibaki took over from the leadership of Toroitich, he never mentioned his name at all. He focused on rehabilitating the Kenyan economy after it had collapsed following the bad economic policies of Toroitich.

3. When you (Uhuru) took over from Mwai Kibaki, you did nor mention his name but instead focused on mega economic projects such as the "SGR" from Mombasa to Nairobi and later to Naivasha.
4. Now we have Ndugu Samoei Cherop Ruto and his deputy Ndugu Rigathi constantly criticizing you and your economic policies 24/7

What is sad about Samoei criticizing you is that, he refuses to admit that he was your deputy VICE PRESIDENT FOR 10 YEARS!!!!!!!!

What did he do during the time he was your vice president?

1. He used state security apparatus to guard and expand his private business empire while he totally ignored to work with you.
2. He was a fulltime student at the University of Nairobi working for his academic doctorate from 2012 to 2018.
3. From 2018 to 2022, Ndugu Samoei was busy campaigning for the Kenyan presidency while transforming places of worship from citadels of prayer to political arenas.
4. During the campaigns, he made so many promises that he could not fulfil because throughout the time he was a vice president, he did not learn anything about running a country.

SOLUTION:

A "Motion of no Confidence" of UDA incompetent leadership should be passed and the government dissolved immediately. We cannot wait until 2027.

Mlevi Wanjohi cannot be a statesman and rise up beyond conmanship! As a former president, he should be mostly keeping his mouth shut and assisting the current president behind the scenes whenever the current president needs some wisdom!!! Whoever the president is at a time should be helped to succeed cause it’s the country that moves forward!!! A spoiled brat

Mlevi has a son out of wedlock who is toiling in the slums of Nairobi. Apparently, his mother was killed. He resembles, talks and his mannerisms are similar to Mlevi’s! People in the slum call him Uhenye. Apparently, his mother used to be a guard or something to that effect at mlevi’s house!

Another SAGA and shameless behavior of “Waheshimiwa”!!!

And how many does the peoples conman have out there???
