Raila's wife Ida Odinga has publicly endorsed nominated MP John Mbadi as her husband's preferred successor if he secures the African Union Commission chairperson position. While praising Mbadi as Raila's top choice, Ida acknowledges other capable leaders within the party nurtured by Raila's guidance.
