It is with great sadness that we announce the passing to glory of Charles Irungu Mwangi of Newark, NJ after a brave fight with cancer.
Husband to the late Winrose Njoki, Father to Victor Mwangi and Ryan Mwangi; brother to Julius Mwangi, cousin and uncle to many.
Prayers and financial support to help with the funeral expenses will be held on Saturday April 28th 2018 from 2pm at 439 Dermody St, Roselle, NJ 07203.

I am greatly saddened by the untimely death of my very good friend "Charlie" or "Shari" as many of us knew him. Charlie and his late wife Winrose Njoki were the proprietors of "Club Safari" a very popular joint in the 1990's situated along 18th St. Newark, NJ.
Charlie was a real gentleman who having been around for a long while in Newark was always ready to assist those of us who needed "shushus" "ivadis" accomodation and most of all transport for job interviews etc. He never asked for a single penny.
He shall be intensely missed by all those who knew him. May the Lord Rest Charlie's soul in eternal peace.
