It is with humble hearts the family of Gabriel Bulindah Abondi announces his passing on July 25th, 2018 after a brief illness at the age of 81 at Bungoma West Hospital. Popularly known as "Mr G" he was father to Rev. Fr. Earnest Bulinda (Diocese of Richmond), Bishop John and Mary Abondi (Seattle , Washington), David and Irene Kizito Bulindah (Lacey, Washington) and grandfather to Maura Kizito (Newark,Delaware).
He is survived by his wife of sixty years Mama Maria Abondi(Kambiri, Kakamega). Gabrielle will be remembered for his insistence that in spite of life's trails and tribulations we should "cheka kidogo" no matter what.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 2403 Pleasanton Court SE, Lacey, WA 98503 and a memorial service on Sunday July 29th at 5pm.
