Ishmael . Your Dad was a close friend of my elder brother Francis Otieno Pala of SEME Kombewa, Diemo School. My brother introduced me to your Dad in my youth. They were age mates and my brother has also since passed on. I did not get to meet your Mom but I knew of her .. Also I have not had a chance to meet any of you, the children of these famous people from SEME. Please accept my very belated but deeply sincere condolences for their passing. I wish to connect with you or your siblings who are in Kenya. I wanted to talk about your father's scholarly contributions to the area of ethnomusicology and the possibility that he would be properly honored for his work.

With best wishes
