President Uhuru to Raila: There's Only One Way to Get Power

President Uhuru has told National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga that there are no shortcuts and only one means to rise to power.

President Uhuru was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto during a campaign trail in Nyandarua County on Saturday, where they dismissed the anti-Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission demos called by Raila and his team as a means to cause violence and negotiate for a coalition government.

“He is calling for mass action to incite violence so that he can get to power through the back door.” DP Ruto said.

Ruto questioned how Raila calls himself the father of democracy when he is always fighting constitutional bodies and using unconstitutional means to remove officials from office.

Ruto asked: “What kind of democrat are you if you are opposed to everything?
