Police Shoot Dead Nairobi's Most Wanted Criminal Shimoli Jr

Police on Friday morning gunned down Shimoli Jr, who has been described as Nairobi's most wanted criminal.

Police trailed the gangster and shot him dead in Jericho estate in Nairobi. Shimoli is the son of the late Edward Maina Shimoli, another feared criminal who was killed by police along Kangundo road in 2007.

Before he was killed, Shimoli Sr had confessed to 14 murders, 88 rapes, a chain of bank robberies and other drug-related deals.

Buru Buru Director of Criminal Investigation Jeremiah Ikiao said Shimoli Jr has been terrorizing Nairobi residents and had planned some of the recent criminal activities around the city.

“He was part of a gang that targeted people after games…” he said.

Police are looking for several other members of the gang that Shimoli Jr commanded.

Don't be too quick to pass judgement. This was a case of mistaken identity.Shimolis son is still at large and somebody's son is dead. This was a well known tout on the route

Dear Kenyans, this can only be blamed on the #UnemploymentDisasterKE and the crooked education system we have. Think again!
