President Kenyatta Vows to Decisively Deal with Corrupt Officials

President Kenyatta has warned that stern action will be taken against any corrupt government officials regardless the positions they hold.

Speaking at State House, Nairobi on Monday, the President maintained that State officials must account for every cent allocated to their dockets.

“We are not going to tolerate unethical people. People with responsibility must be ready to serve and not to be served,” said the Head of State.

President Uhuru spoke when he presented a new 51-seater bus and gym equipment, all valued at Sh8 million, to Kenya High School.

The President's warning comes in the wake of multi-billion scandals that have been unearthed in various government agencies including National Youth Service (NYS), National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB), Kenya Power and Kenya Pipeline Company.

On Sunday and Monday morning, 20 suspects at the centre of Sh9 billion scandal at the NYS were arrested and are currently being detained before being arraigned in court on Tuesday.

Those in custody include NYS Director-General Richard Ndubai and Youth Affairs Principal Secretary Lillian Omollo.

We are tired of your many vows to fight corruption, Mr President! You bark too much and do no biting, tail between your legs.....JUST DO IT! Make grand larceny treasonable & those caught lined up in Uhuru Park AND SHOT IN THE HEAD, one bullet each (we don’t wanna waste even a single bullet, we’ve already lost too much) And if you can’t do this, please resign and let more able & more patriotic Kenyans handle it, nkt!

I doubt Uhunye can take the bullet side. This guy is a weakling without balls. Looters are ruling this country and as powerful as he is, judiciary has to do something. Not a single case has been prosecuted by Maraga who was recently payukaring somewhere in America. Aden Ndwale on the other hand and Muturi all jubilee do NOT have intellectual ability to enact stricter laws in parliament to fight bizzare looting taking place cos they are also busy payukaring through and through about 2022. Incompetent, unpatriotic and self serving individuals are serving us. Enough is enough.

Uhuru sir. You have given too many threats to your corrupt government officials who actually serve under your pleasure. Nothing has happened yet corruption has gone to very high levels under your watch. Why do you expect Kenyans will take you seriously this time. If nothing is done you will go down on history as Kenya’s most corrupt president. You are actually breaking Moi’s record. In this, the opposition is right, “Your government is corrupt”. You watch and do nothing as your friends loot and steal and enrich themselves. You have put the country under receivership. You borrow from foreign governments only to give the money to those you appoint to take care of it. Under your radar Kenya has gone to the dogs. Stop your big four for a minute and deal with corruption. Otherwise how can you convince us you are not an accomplice to all what’s going on? Gutiri muici na mucuthiriria.

This is just PR. Couple of people you can start with to show you are serious. Yourself, your niece, your aunt, your mother. The list is endless and we have not touched your friends and political allies.

Mr President, nothing can both be and not be. You and your MP's either care about the country or don't. If you care, your actions and those of the MP's will show. You as leaders are supposed to be servant's of the citizenry. There is nothing in this government that seems to fulfill the "servant"relationship. From high unexplainable salaries, allowances, borrowed funds, the whole system seems to be collapsing under the weight of individual greed. Remember "iguthua ndongoria itikinyagira nyeki". There are way too many political distractions that you are entertaining in your government that it's almost impossible for the country to move forward. Actions speak louder than words. It's not too late to speak with actions, but this must start from the top. Stop politicking while the citizenry is suffering. If politicking continues, the Dynasties will be the first casualties of their own so called " Handshake" and politics!!

Grand corruption and theft in Kenya is organized crime controlled by a central cartel which coordinates the thefts from government departments and county Treasuries. Sonko has been fighting it with reasonable success at city Hall, but you can see how it is clawing back at him. He will be lucky to survive. I doubt if there's much Uhuru can do without first identifying the individuals behind this organization and then destroying it. It will take guts.

Threats za mbule from Uhuru who himself has not told Kenyans how they spent the first EUROBOND.If he cannot account for it,can he tell us how they shared the loot?Uhuru & Co.looters should be reminded that Gadafi(Libya-42 years) and Mubarak(Egypt-32 years) ruled their countries for all those years but were toppled by popular citizen's revolutions because of corruption.NYINYI WOTE NI RISASI TU.
