Kalonzo: Why I Forced Myself into the Government

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka says that he joined the government in order to remain relevant following March 9th handshake between President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

Kalonzo says that the unity pact between Kenyatta and Odinga left the rest of National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principals in the dark and that he had no choice but to join the two.

“We were completely left out in the dark, and not to know where we were leading as opposition after the captain exited the ship on waters filled with crocodiles,” Kalonzo says.

“No one called me into government but I forced myself inside to skip irrelevance. The handshake was good for a politically divided country like Kenya at the time. I am inside there, and as a member of the handshake team led by Uhuru, I am supporting it,” he adds.

Musyoka has, however, refuted reports that he has a political deal with President Kenyatta following his appointment as the new head of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) on peace in South Sudan.

“I do not have any deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta, I am on the negotiating table, whatever it is we will table it there. My commitment now is building bridges and help in healing this country,” notes Musyoka.

During his father, Peter Mairu's burial last month, Musyoka declared himself President Uhuru's errand boy.

“Henceforth, I shall be doing the dirty work for President Uhuru Kenyatta. I prefer not to be asked any questions regarding that decision and if you do you will realize that I am as stubborn as my late father,” said Musyoka during the ceremony attended by Kenyatta.

Bwana Kalonzo, we all get it; you joined the government for the same reason as most of the Kenya leaders; to line up at the feeding trough. It is pathetic how you guys use wananchi all along knowing that you don't care about them and you have nothing to offer them. It's all about yourselves, families and friends. As soon as you went on a bended knee,to Uhuru, you got an office, security detail and all the goodies including a post as a loitering idiot believing you can bring peace to the troubled Sudan. But the sad part is that, we're paying for it with our taxes.

Kalonzo I give YOU credit for being honest thus far. That being said I must point out that, you kalonzo musyoka have NOTHING to show for those 30 years you have been in government and yet you have nothing that you can claim as development in Ukambani kwa jumla. You have not even cared to build school structures for those primary school poor children learning under trees with poisonus snakes hanging above them in your Kitui area. You need to go and search your soul and may be you can find your purpose in this world. PATHETIC CREATURE.
