Kenyan Man Lynched by Angry Mob After Being Caught in Sexual Act with a Cow

A middle-aged man was on Tuesday morning lynched by an angry mob in Mwingi, Kitui County after he was caught in the act with a cow.

The man was allegedly found engaging in the bestiality act by a passerby at Mavoko area in Mwingi town at around 4:00am.

The passerby raised alarm and when neighbors arrived, the man became violent prompting mayhem that led to his death.

By the time officers from the nearest police station arrived, the man had already been killed. They moved the body of the deceased to Mwingi Level IV Hospital morgue.

Kavuvwani location chief Nicholas Muvengei condemned the deceased acts and also warned residents against taking the law into their hands.

Police immediately launched investigations into the incident.

Bestiality or unnatural act is considered a felony in Kenya and attracts a prison sentence of not less than 14 years if one is found guilty.

They could have called police instead of lynching him. He was sinning against God and not against the community. Now his blood is in their hands!

@ Kale, iam sure you read that beastiality is a crime in Kenya, not where God resides, even though it is said that He is omnipresent...
Yes lynching was an over kill. But where were these great upright people when a man collapsed, and was robbed instead of being helped?Did they chase the robbers? No.Selective justice has become a real problem in Kenya...

This shows how angry and stressed Kenyans are. Blame it on bad governance and failed economy. This is just a time bomb waiting to explode.
I'm not saying what this guy did was right, but he didn't deserve to die.
