Alleged Kenyan Female Drug Baron Deported from Seychelles

A middle-aged Kenyan woman has been deported from Seychelles over alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

The woman identified as Anwar Onezime hails from Mombasa and was married to a Seychelles national, according to reports.

Onezime, who is described as one of the biggest drug traffickers in Seychelles, was deported from the East African nation on February 1st.

Her deportation came after she was arrested on drug-related offenses, with Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan strongly condemning the crime during a live press conference.

Ramkalawan indicated that all protocols were observed before the deportation of the Kenyan national, who he termed as a notorious drug dealer.

“The woman is one of the biggest drug traffickers in our country and everyone knows but action was never taken. The police arrested the woman in an operation and after procedures were followed she was deported,” President Ramkalawan remarked.

Reports indicate Onezime was handed over to Kenyan authorities upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

President Ramkalawan sent a stern warning to drug traffickers even as he declared that his administration will not relent until the illegal trade is dismantled.

Interesting.I would have thought that she would have served some time in Seychelles prison,if she is as notorious as the president claims. To me deportation to Kenya does not appear to be a diverstating punishment other than temporarily putting a wrinkle in her drug trade...
I am also curious about the name. Onezime sounds Nigerian, and knowing how much these brothers and sisters are notorious for drug trafficking,i would not be faulted for such a thought. But I will take it that she is a Kenyan...
Finally, what is going on with our Kenyan women.Lately on this forum akenyan-american woman was charged with swindling 100m.dollars from a medical facility, and in Kenya a drug green who had evaded authorities for a while was apprehended afew days ago.Not to forget aprostitute who was charging Sh 500,000 a shot.
And not to be out done, women in dispora in an article that has generated over 10,000 readers, and over 100 comments, complain, and chastise Kenyan men.Is some kind of evolution, revolution unraveling that I should be aware of?
I am beginning to think that something is up with our women,or is it with our men? Can something be done to avert this "revolution",or rebellion so that our women can be seen,or become a GENTLER SEX again?Or have they been that way all along? Is something more than greed for money going on?

Crime is crime(to humanity), whether in Seychelles, Kenya, USA,India, and the criminals need to be punished. Are you saying that after committing drug offenses in Seychelles, she can be deported to continue this illegal activity in Kenya?
I dont know where you are,but if you happen to be in USA, you will serve time for this crime, before you are deported to Kenya.

@ Builder, actually less than 10% of USA prisons are private. The majority are owned,or run by government-TAX MONEY.
Anyway, my mentioning USA prisons had to do with punishment. My position was that, this drug dealer queen would have served time before being deported,if the case had been adjudicated in USA courts.

Apples and oranges here. Capacity for lengthy trials differs. USA is a super legalistic nation inspite of corrupted legal system. There's quota in police tickets monthly, prosecutors and sheriff must put ppl in jail n prison to be seen to be working and justify job positions. Filthy immoral system that favor the rich

Please stick to the topic. I said if this drug queen was in the USA, she would serve time, then get deported. This has nothing to do with quota,or sheriffs. It has to do with punishment for acrime by a foreigner drug dealer. They drug dealer serves time, them gets deported.
Iam sure you agree with me on this.

I repectfully agree @ Builder. Nothing wrong with having dissenting opinion. Iam sure there may be other topics,or ideas we might agree on. We cannot just disagree on everything. You have agood weekend brother/sister,or gender neutral.Have to be politically correct. Hahahah two wrongs make a right.

@ GG, remmember the harm is done to "your" citizens who pay that tax you mention. And Iam sure that most would be very happy to see aforeigner jailed for drugging their "addicts" than to go free where ever they came from, and launch a supply channel or control it from afar... without repercussion .
