Come for Me, I’m Not scared: Uhuru Tells Ruto

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has condemned President William Ruto's government for harassing his family.

In a press conference held at his son's home in Karen on Friday, Mr Kenyatta claimed that his family is being intimidated day and night without any reason. He challenged the government to arrest him if they have any issue with him. According to Mr Kenyatta, his mother's security had been withdrawn for no apparent reason and the presence of snoopers at his son's house was suspicious.

The former Head of State denied any involvement in the ongoing demonstrations led by Azimio leader Raila Odinga. Mr Kenyatta also reported that some unknown people in a Sudanese-registered vehicle had approached his son in the evening and demanded to search his house. He advised his son not to open the gate until he arrived.

"Do not think you can intimidate an old woman, children, and grandchildren to intimidate me, if you want me, come, I have not run away. Your people know where I am all the time but leave the children alone," Uhuru dared.

Ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta has denied any involvement in Azimio's pushback against President Ruto's regime, stating that he peacefully handed over power and questioned why politicians keep bringing him up in their problems. Instead, he urged the government to address the concerns of Kenyans and listen to their demands. Recently, there has been tension in the Kenyan political landscape with the government withdrawing security from Mama Ngina Kenyatta's residence in a bid to pressure the powerful Kenyatta family into calling off the protests.

This guy needs to leave the current administration alone. It’s a disgrace to be disgruntled to continue heckling and peckling. No one in untouchable and commend the current administration in trying to keep him in check. First let’s agree on this massive lands bwana, second payment of taxes and last this security for all his family is way too much. They can afford their to pay their own security. Last May miguna miguna becomes the next AG..

Samoei is delusional and possibly a psychopath. Oscar Sudi (his close advisor) should tell him to leave alone the family of the first president of Kenya.

Samoei should thank Uhuru for being kind to him every second of his life. Why? Had Samoei worked for Uhuru's father as a vice president, he would have ended up in jail long time ago the same way the first vice president of Kenya (Oginga Odinga) ended up in jail when he dared challenge the first president of Kenya.

These people don't realize that Uhuru is still a strong and loved man, he is capable of turned them upside down.
What we are all witnessing, is the making of a North Korea kind of government, not safe for anyone. Why are they scared to negotiate with the opposition?
One day, their power will also end.

This ugly drunk needs to learn that the mount Kenya is done with him and his criminal family. They are not welcome and as long as he associates with Riot Raila he will be treated as the criminal that he is. He must shut up, enjoy his alcohol quietly and move his family and his aged mother to Nyanza where they belong.
