Missing Kenyan-American Woman Found Dead at Boston Logan Airport, Police Say Her Killer Fled to Kenya
A missing Kenyan-American woman in Massachusetts has been found dead inside her car at a Boston’s Logan Airport parking garage.
Authorities say the body of 31-year-old Margaret “Maggie” Wanjiru Mbitu of Whitman, MA was found inside her car in the airport's Central Parking facility on Wednesday around 6:30pm.
Massachusetts State Police believe Maggie was killed by a Kenyan man, 40-year-old Kevin Kangethe of Lowell, MA. State Police say Kangethe was Maggie’s partner, and say Kangethe boarded a flight to Kenya shortly after ditching Maggie’s body at the parking garage. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Kangethe and say they are working with Kenyan authorities to capture him.
Maggie, who had been reported missing by her family, was last seen on Monday night around 11pm leaving her workplace.
Meanwhile, Maggie's family is organizing her funeral and burial. See the announcement below:

Kevin Kangethe; since we do not know what exactly happened between the two of you, until you inform us and the experts examine your story, don’t waste the taxpayer’s money and her family’s time. They need closure and to mourn her proper. Take the next flight out of Nairobi, back to Boston, and give people answers they seek.
