Kenyan Man Killed in a Car Crash in Bridgewater, Massachusetts
A Kenyan man died in a car crash on Sunday night in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Linneaus Mutethia Gating, a 34-year-old from Rockland, MA died at the scene of the accident on Auburn Street in Bridgewater.
Police say Gitonga’s was driving a 2006 Chevy Avalanche pickup truck down the road at a high rate of speed on Sunday night when the truck veered off the road and hit an unoccupied pickup truck that was parked on the side of the road. Gitonga’s vehicle then struck a tree, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
Firefighters who responded to the scene pulled Gitonga from the wreckage and tried to give him first aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Gitonga was the only occupant of his vehicle.
