Kenyan Woman, 10-Month-Old Son Found Dead in their Apartment in Denmark

A Kenyan woman and have 10-month old son were found dead on Saturday morning in their apartment in a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The woman has been identified as Rashida Fridah, a native of Kakamega, Kenya.

Police say the child’s father found the two dead in their Dyssegård apartment and called police.

Police did not provide the cause of deaths or any other details, only saying that they are treating this as a suspicious event and are conducting investigations.

"Of course we have talked to the father and he has been allowed to go afterwards, as everything points to the fact that it is a very tragic event in the small family," says Brian Grayston of Nordsjællands Police Department.

Yea, the closest people people are usually the first suspect. In this case the husband. But why Kill the 10 months old? Whoever did it is an animal...I would not surprised if the motive was something to do with love gone sour.Probably found out that the child was not his...Anyway, its so unfortunate.Iam sure the Kenyan went there in pursuit of a better life.I hope the police catch the culprit.

@Kenya, what in this story prompts you to jump to that conclusion? It says that the Police questioned the father who found his family dead. For all you know, the woman could have committed suicide/murder. We don't know. Post natal depression...lot's of possibilities. Very sad, but we can't just jump to such dangerous conclusion. Of course, if he had a hand in this, then....has to be held into account.

R.I.P, Mother and son, However , the Authorities in Denmark, must now do their investigative Duty to establish the cause of death and yes, they must take a keen look @ the Husband.

Yes Kenya. But there is no evidence this is the case here. I am merely pointing out that there are other possibilities, not ruling this out. Get my drift? I just don't like jumping in the judgement end too early driven by assumptions based on probabilities. Sad case.

The husband was an abusive cheater. Her friends have spoken out about their relationship and her attempts to leave him, but she was fearful that the govt would not allow her to take their son because he was born there.
