US-Based Actress Christine Wawira Reveals Plans to Open Birth Centers in Kenya

Christine Wawira, a Kenyan actress based in the US, has revealed plans to set up birth centers in Kenya with an aim of reducing the infant mortality rate.

Wawira said she is passionate about maternal health, adding that she is a certified childbirth hypnosis instructor.

She indicated that she took the course while pregnant and had what she termed as the most comfortable delivery. Wawira says she recently delivered a baby for a client, who similarly had a comfortable delivery.

“It was a very smooth and comfortable labor for the mom because she took the childbirth hypnosis class,” she noted.

The actress now plans to bring Hypnobabies to Kenya and establish birth centers with water birth options for new mums.

Hypnobabies is a complete childbirth course that also teaches painless childbirth techniques to Hypnobabies mothers so that they can enter hypnosis, deepen it themselves, and remain mobile during labor, according to Nashville Births & Babies.

Hypnobabies uses the same kind of hypnosis techniques that people employ when preparing for surgery without any medication.

Hopefully the government will allow her to do it.
But hopefully it won't be another NGO for just MILKING American donors and well wishers.
Or just a tax break tool.
But if her heart is there, we will support you.
