Opposition outfit, National Super Alliance (NASA) has made a date with Kenyans, April 27.
Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya on Thursday where new entrant to the coalition, CCM Party boss Isaac Ruto was welcomed, the leaders said they will announce who among them will be the flag bearer at Uhuru Park next week.
“We have a date with you. I assure Kenyans that we bound ourselves in the name of God that none of us will think twice or walk out of this arrangement,” Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula stated as told by the Star.
Wetangula spoke on behalf of his other principals, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Raila Odinga (ODM and Isaac Rutto (CCM).
This comes barely a day after Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama declared that Kenyans will get to know NASA’s flag bearer soon.
Muthama on Wednesday said: “We have a flag bearer and very soon Kenyans will get to know where we are heading.”
The outfit has come under pressure from Kenyans and also Jubilee ruling coalition to name their flag bearer.
