Two Planes Carrying Presidential Ballot Papers Set to arrive in Nairobi

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says that two planes carrying August 8 General Election presidential ballot papers will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday, July 31th from Dubai after binding and packaging is concluded.

The General Manager of Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing Company Lakshmanan Ganapathy confirmed that printing of presidential ballot papers in Dubai will be completed tonight (July 27) ahead of the delivery.

IEBC commissioner, Roselyn Akombe, said that IEBC will be airlifting the ballots to areas where there are security concerns such as Lamu, Garissa, Mandera, Lamu, Tana River and Wajir Counties.
