Raila Plotting Power-Sharing Deal, Deputy President William Ruto Says

Pull out of the repeat presidential elections scheduled for October 26th if you are not interested instead of causing anxiety and confusion among Kenyans, Deputy President William Ruto has told Opposition chief Raila Odinga.
Speaking at Kaptumo grounds in Nandi County on Sunday, said the National Super Alliance flag bearer was free to pull out of the race and allow Kenyans to take part in electing their president without being coerced or intimidated.
“Odinga has an option of pulling out of the presidential race in October 26, if he is not interested instead of causing confusion and anxiety among Kenyans,” Ruto said.
Ruto claimed that the former Prime Minister was creating roadblocks to the election as he feared losing to Uhuru.
He said that Raila's scheme was to cause confusion and chaos with an attempt to create grounds for a coalition government.
“I want to tell Odinga that he has no capacity to stop Kenyans from participating in their democratic right of electing leaders of their choice,” said Ruto.
“If anyone believes in democracy, he should be prepared to respect the will of Kenyans in a free and democratic election,” added the Deputy President.
Ruto was accompanied by Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, his Uasin-Gishu counterpart Jackson Mandago, MPs Wilson Kogo (Chesumei), Cornelly Serem (Aldai), Tecla Tum (Women Rep, Nandi), Samson Cherargei (Nandi) and Julius Melly (Tinderet).
“These guys tell us during the day that they are not interested in a coalition government while at night that’s their plan,” Ruto said.
“Unless Odinga wants to carry out a coup, withdraw from the race or plan to cause violence, I don’t understand why he is telling us there will be no election,” Governor Sang said.
“But we want to warn him that this is not the Kenya of 1982 where he carried out a failed coup in this country. This is a no nonsense Government under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta,” added Governor Sang.

Uhuru is just a coward ... u think Moi would be pushed around by an opposition in this manner ... constitution or not, someone would be walking around with no balls ... Lets face it, Uhuru and his fellows are just cowards ... been bullied around by a 72yr old mzee ... I supported Uhuru but this is just ridiculous ... lets do the mkate nusu thing and move on ... Uhuru has the numbers and state machinery but is too much of a coward to use them ... if raila says there will be no elections, then believe him .. he knows what he is saying .. there will be no elections .. he will engineer a scheme and no elections will be held ... then uhuru keeps running around saying elections must be held in 60 days ... what kind of nonsense is this ... many jubilee supporters are now getting tired of this ... life must go on and if nusu mkate is the route, then get it done .. uhuru just doesnt have the balls to stand up and trash that constitution that has been used to engineer a coup ... so screw all this ... give raila his nusu govt so that things can get going again ... this standoff nonsense is ridiculors ... meanwhile their businesses are still running smoothly ... we boil uhuru's milk using raila's gas ... nonsense !!!!

@hypocrite.NO.NO.NO.Kenya is a democracy. We have to make the Kenyan Democracy work.We cannot allow a few mistaken individuals (namely the gang of 4) and their opposition supporters to disenfranchise the will of the Kenyan electorate. Also it is time for RAO to retire from politics.Kenyans are tired of his brand of insatiable and never ending political lies/deception & shenanigans.Kenyans want to make their voices heard come OCT 26th. Period. UHURUTO Tano Tena. We have to affirm the will of the Kenyan Voter in Kenya. We have to let the ordinary mwananchi to vote for the leaders of their choice. This is the only way to ensure and safeguard Peace and Stability in the Country. Elections have to be held. IEBC has to deliver the election as per the constitution. If we fail to allow Kenyans to express their will on the ballot, then we would be inviting instability in the country. The right solution to the current problem that we face is.For the IEBC to ensure that there is an election. For Kenyans to vote for the leaders that they want. For the supreme court to affirm the will of the people. For the losers to accept defeat. And for the country to move on in Peace.

@Kim ... I am sick of this nonsense ... try running a business in this environment and you will understand what I mean. I hang out with business leaders and the sentiments are the same. Fatigue is slowly setting in ... I went to a barber shop yesterday where everyone voted for uhuru … but the sentiments are the same … Either Uhuru acquires the balls to trash the damn constitution ... or he gives raila the nusu mkate govt ... a standoff like this is ridiculors ... it doesnt hurt them (uhuru and raila) ... the standoff hurts you and I and its taking its toll. Maraga has already indicated he will annul any election if a stamp or signature is missing … Raila has said no election will take place …and I believe him …. Our drunkard Uhuru is just running around saying elections must take place in 60 days … ati that’s the law …. Screw the damn law … Uhuru must get the balls to stand up for the majority that voted for him … he has our mandate … yet he can’t use all the instruments at his disposal .. I ask you again, you think an opposition would push around Moi like this ??? NO WAY … The year 1992 brought in the multi-party era .. but Moi ruled for another 10 yrs and retired peacefully … nobody was going to push him out in 1992 … In this case, Uhuru has ruled for a mere 4 yrs and yet, he is about to be kicked out as we watch helplessly …. Nonsense .. either he gathers big balls and stands up to raila and for us who voted for him …. Or he gives raila his nusu mkate so country can move on .. enough is enough .. tumechoka na hii upuzi …

A story is alive of a man who build himself a beautiful canoe at a high cost, painted it flashy colors then anchored it at CBEI marina, at night someone who may have witnessed all the noble work hacked it. The canoe owner searched for it in agony day and night. One day he met a ndugu with the canoe that was in every way his except possession. Where did you get such a beautiful canoe? he inquired. The ndugu offered to sell the canoe to the original owner; who without raising a complaint paid the full price for what was his investment! I guess this is what is panning out here.
