Mike Sonko Admits Nairobi Governor Job is Hard, Says He's Thinking of Resigning

Mike Sonko has admitted that the Nairobi Governor job is not a walk in the park and that he is thinking of "resigning" just like former Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe did.
In a post on his Facebook page, Sonko confessed that the magnitude of work at the country’s Capital city has proved to be hard and is weighing him down.
However, the flamboyant politician said he will seek advice from city residents so that his resignation won't reminiscent that of his former Deputy, who stepped down without consulting.
“Lakini pia mujue hii kazi imekua ngumu iko karibu kunishinda na sio mambo ya flag hizo nimekubali kutoa as adviced by Karanja Kibicho na Ndegwa but nitawambia very soon ni kwanini ndio muniadvice iskue kama yule my bro aliehepa bila kuconsult.Kuweni na siku njema yenye mafanikio na baraka tele na Mungu awalinde nyote,” he wrote.
Sonko’s confession come a day after a section of Kenyans on social media took to Twitter under the hashtag #FailedGovernorSonko to express their dissatisfaction with how he has so far managed things at City Hall.
Many accused Sonko of failing to address matters dogging Nairobi, including; water shortage, increased insecurity, flooding, garbage collection, traffic jams among other issues.
