32-Year-Old Kenyan Man Who Predicted His Death Succumbs to Covid-19

A 32-year-old Kenyan man who predicted he would die in August has succumbed to Covid-19.
Juma Kaiburi Baitairi, a Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) inspection officer, died from the virus last Tuesday, according to Daily Nation.
Through Facebook on August 1st, 2019, Kaiburi said the month of August meant a lot to him, noting that it’s “probably the month I will die.”
“August means a lot to me. It’s the month I was born, the month I (was circumcised) …It’s the month I joined university … Probably the month I will die. Who knows? Hail the month of the King,” he wrote.
Kaiburi died on the day he would have turned 32, and was laid to rest on Friday in Antuanthenge village, Meru County.
“Even the Sheikh who conducted the funeral mentioned it. It was prophetic but people did not take it seriously until it happened. Juma was larger than life, straightforward and forthright,” his Jurgen Murungi, who was the master of ceremony at his burial said.
The family described the father of two as a “committed scholar, diligent worker, humorous and a satirist of social and political commentary.”
“He was the glue which united many,” his obituary published in a local daily read.
