Pack and Go, DP Ruto Tells Jubilee Leaders Supporting Raila
Deputy President William Ruto has told a section of Jubilee leaders supporting ODM chief Raila Odinga to quit the ruling party.
Describing them as power brokers, Ruto said the group was out to stop him from running for the presidency in 2022 but insisted their plan will flop.
“Those at Jubilee House who have decided that their presidential candidate is from Orange House should pack and go; what are they still doing at our party’s head office?” He posed.
He continued: “We are prepared and fit for the 2022 race based on our development track-record, issues, and policies that will make our country a better place for everyone.”
Ruto spoke on Saturday during a series of meeting with political and religious leaders in Mombasa County.
He further urged his followers to remain firm in the face of heightened intimidation, harassment, and coercion.
“Let us not go back to the archaic way of doing politics. We risk polarizing the country,” said Ruto.
Ruto was flanked by several leaders including former Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan MPs Mohamed Ali (Nyali), Benjamin Tayari (Kinango), Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), and Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), Woman Representatives Wangui Ngirici (Kirinyaga) Gladys Sholei (Uasin Gishu), and Lydia Haika (Taita Taveta).

Every time ruto stands to speak, all you hear about is himself and how he will win presidency in 2022. Ruto has created a cable of imaginary enemies narrative that he is assuming to fight every day! Kenya mb are just wale wahamaa to Ruto! Ruto is fighting Kenyans with the money he stole from them! So Ruto understands best what he means when he says, “ wale wahamaa”!
