David Ochieng was stabbed three times on the collar bone, abdomen, and on the back at his house in Nairobi’s Umoja Innercore estate on Sunday night.

The two are said to have quarreled after the girlfriend saw a text message from another woman who was asking for financial assistance from the lawyer, according to a police report on the incident.

The altercation saw the suspect 24-year-old Linda Okumu, a student at the University of Eldoret, stab the man using a kitchen knife.

Ochieng was rushed to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital at around 2:00 am in serious condition and was later transferred to KNH, where he is currently undergoing treatment for stab wounds.

Ms. Okumu was arrested and placed under police custody pending arraignment in court.

Wow,playing with people's emotions is a dangerous game.Lawyers in particular, seem to have been wrecklessly embraced this deadly game.Is it not too long ago when another lawyer succumbed to injuries caused by some woman?
To you men who are still playing the field,or breaking their marriage vows, just be careful.Crime of passion with the right lawyer could free the perpetrator.would you want some man to play with your daughter like that?State your intentions early and save alot of grief .It's not macho, but plain childish and stupid to lie when it be comes to matters of the heart. You wouldn't be want that be done to you by would you?

It seems lawyers are an endangered species, due to all the lies they present in court

It is about time lawyers get their moral acts together! You cant be a hyena eating from every corner just because you think you can!

Wacheni kucheza na wasichana jameni! Watupumua hewa haraka kabisa sana!

Maxiley thank u for ur Dr Phil moment. It's time for women to understand how the game is played. I am not for disrespecting women, but dating is a form of interviewing the rite candidate to put a ring on it. U have to interview, inspect the goods, taste the goods to determine the rite person to be ur sidekick in life. If a man is married n playing the fields that ain't rite to a woman, but if single wear out the mattress n for the idiot that did the stab act enjoy ur ugali n water stew with one leaf of sukuma wiki.Bow down to the real men that love n cherish their wives.

@ Shaka, from what I have heard, about 80 years ago, that's what happened. There was intense veting on both sides.Interestingly,if you were a witch, you were matched with another witch.Fair game...,but at least there was no rolling in the hey without family"approval"

The ratio is 7 to 1 if you can afford it.
The west taught us that it wrong to have many wives. Women stop being possessive.
We are dating, it's ny money and please stop following socialites. Stop watching reality TV because its not reality.
