Raila Speaks Out After Reports of Hospitalization

ODM party leader Raila Odinga has released a statement following reports of his hospitalization.

Through his social media pages on Wednesday, Odinga thanked Kenyans for the overwhelming messages of goodwill, adding that he is feeling better.

"Wakenya wenzangu, Thank you for the overwhelming messages of goodwill. I’m feeling much much better now and following doctors’ orders. Asanteni!" he wrote.

Raila’s personal doctor, Dr Oluoch Olunya, said the ODM chief went to the Nairobi Hospital for a routine medical test after feeling fatigued.

“Odinga walked in for a routine medical test at the Nairobi Hospital on March 9, 2021, after feeling some fatigue,” Olunya said in a statement.

He added: “He is still undergoing some further investigations with a team of doctors and has been advised to take a rest. We are continuing to monitor his condition and no doubt will be able to address the country in due course. He is in good spirits."

Why do you need a team of medical doctors for a routine medical test?
Where there is smoke, there is fire.

When will the kawaida mkenya be able to have a similar medical cover where they walk into a hospital for feeling "unwell"?
All these leaders care is what they get from us....how our taxes end on their own welfare while we die like flies. God have mercy
