Suspect Behind Shooting of Two Policemen and a Woman at Quiver's Lounge Surrenders to DCI

A 28-year-old man accused of shooting two police officers and a woman at Quiver’s Lounge along Thika Highway has been arrested.
Dickson Njanja Mararo surrendered himself to detectives at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Monday .Mararo, who was accompanied by his attorney Cliff Ombeta was interrogated by detectives from the Serious Crimes Unit.
A Glock semi-automatic pistol and 38 rounds of 9mm ammunition were recovered from the suspect.
DCI said Mararo will be arraigned in court to answer charges of attempted murder.
The shooting occurred at the popular entertainment joint on Friday night following an argument over a woman, according to reports.
The victims were identified as police constables Festus Musyoka Kavuthi and Lawrence Muturi while the lady was named Felistas Nzisa.
Musyoka, who is attached to Starehe DCI, was shot in the left part of his neck while Muturi, who is from Kasarani Petty Crime Unit, was shot in the hand. Nzisa was shot in the abdomen.
Police said Musyoka and Nzisa were rushed to Nehema Uhai Hospital for first-aid before being transferred to Nairobi Hospital for further treatment. Muturi took himself to Radiant Hospital in Pangani where he was treated and discharged.
