Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has been declared the duly elected fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati made the announcement at the Bomas of Kenya at 6.30 pm on Monday.
Ruto, who vied under the UDA party, garnered 7,176,141 votes, representing 50.49 percent of the total votes cast and he achieved the minimum number of 39 counties at 25%.
“In accordance with the Constitution and the law, chairperson of IEBC hereby declare that Ruto William Samoei has been duly elected as the President of the Republic of Kenya under the provision of Article 138 of the Constitution of the Presidential election held on August 9, 2022," said Chebukati.
Chebukati presented the certificate of presidential results to Ruto, who was accompanied by deputy president-elect Rigathi Gachagua, his wife Rachel Ruto and other Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders.
Ruto’s closest challenger Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition managed 6,942,930 votes (48.85 percent).

Go to hell toy damn idiot! Thieves do not become presidents. Ruto is totally unfit to be president. He is your useless president and not mine.

I have muchawi Raila’s plastic ropes for his diaspora worshippers.Tell them to text their street addresses for speedy shipment. No charges. You only have to search for the nearest tree.
Yes Dynasties have Fallen.Let’s start all over again. We got tired of 3 families ruling n controlling us.Ruto the 5th
Raila aliniachia kamba za KITANZI kwa wanao muabudh ziko tayari.Tuma anwani nikutumie bila malipo yoyote. Those in Nairobi are invited for a thank giving ceremony and to help him cannibalize the freezes stock of corpses as his license to kill and stock human fresh has been immediately withdrawn.
I visited Kenya couple years ago and fell in love with the country. Now that the election is over, it's time to migrate to Kenya, and settle there. Wish me luck y'all 😆😆😆
Reverse immigration! You are very much welcome Pam! We sure are blessed with a be country, it’s just that most Kenyans are very corrupt & self centered! Hoping for redemption & true change.
Karibu.
Now the peoples conman can go to Bondo and wait for a natural death!!!
Welcome President William Ruto! Freedom has arrived! Take this country to new heights out of jaws of a few corrupt dynasties!!!

Where are the polsters?
Where are the pollsters
Am not really excited about Ruto being declared the president-elect> What really excites me is the fact that the dynasty families, who fathers and mothers have ruled Kenya since I was a little boy, are out from my life. The Kenyattas who for ,any years thought that leadership was all about them, not any more now. From Nzee Kenyatta, the the thieviest professor of my time, his wife Ngina, Muigai Kenyatta, Nginas brother Muhoho, and Uhurus siblings who have for ten years being looting our resources, including the latest Kemsa scandal, have now been thrown out in the periphery. Forever
Then we have the Jaramogi family. Should I say anything about them really? As latest as last Tuesday, they still have brainwashed their community that leadership without the Odingas is void. Oburu and Ruth Odinga got senatorial and I think MP posts respectively. Then expected their brother to take up the helm. How can one family hold political hostage for years without a twinkle of an eyes? I would like to congratulate the Kikuyus and some other ethnic groups for demonstrating political and democratic maturity during the last election. Thank the Kikuyus for shaming the outgoing Uhuru who thought he would use his position and government resources to lure them to vote for Raila. Honestly speaking, its Uhurus careless and consistent rhetoric that aggravated the Kikuyus and other tribes to rebel against him.
Then comes the MOI family. One of the most despised and loathed dynasty family. Luckily enough, they saw it coming. The electorate from their own backyard kicked Gideon and Raymond out in the cold.
Next should be the Kihikas, ie Susan and Kiroche. Then Mutavatis, Sharrif Nassirs, etc.
In 2027, please vote Mjuaji in as an MCA Baltimore zipcode and I will take care of all your need, nakijua nikijuacho kukijua ndugu zanguni.

Looking back, Ruto may have had a point to complain about the media.Consistently polls and media had RAO leading most of the time.I wonder if their polls were scientific. Fair and balanced polls are usually correct in their analysis and prediction of the out come.
Elections are over hopefully.I guess it will largely depend on what the losers want to do.But its time to jenga taifa, campaign is over.
Charges of corruption, intransigence and slapping people marred Ruto's campaign, hopefully after winning, he will try to clean his character instead of digging in deep.He has achance to make doubters say "mmmmm,I guess tano ten Ruto..."
Greetings my esteemed friend Maxiley. The elections were really close. I think the decision to not go for the debate really did cost Raila. I think that Ruto had a surge of support from the base the last two to four weeks. Congratulations to all the winners, this was of course hard and long fought. Those that lost I hope that they concede defeat for the good of the country. The new govt should focus on including all the regions and communities in the governance of the country. The way forward is to heal the political divide at this point and focus on building the economy. Peace and development is the path we must all continue to walk.
Esteemed greetings back at you my friend @ Kim.Through out the election process we did not hear of irregularities,or mass rigging that marred the past elections. And that is very good news.It is maendeleo.
What has surprised me it that 10 Mt.Kenya counties gave Ruto 4.5 million votes.Right there, that's the clincher.
Like I cited else where," it is said that in politics there are not permanent enemies,no permanent friends.Only permanent interests. Let these interests be peace, security, jobs, good standard of living for all Kenyans. To mention afew. And with good governance they are attainable. Now go pop your champagne bottle should be nicely chilled ...@ Kim.
@Kim,how could a veteran politician like Raila make such a rookie mistake as avoiding a debate? Not only that, how could his advisers think that it was a good idea?Rule of the thumb even to novices would be not to appear coward or weak at any point in your campaign...
Where’s the comments here today??? Oh sorry
Everyone is in Canaan with Baba
ugh but life must go on.
Mkenya sukurani kwako mwenyewe, majilani pamoja na watu wa Mt.Kenya kwa kutotii maangizo ya Ngina na Uhuru. Then tell Raila to concentrate on what he chose for himself-KULA MZOGA YA BINADAMU.Again I thank my Mt.Kenya siblings for defying the Ngina thugs to elect PRIME MURDERER Raila Oginga.
Wakenya be ready for mega scandals for the next five years. He must recover all the money he spent on campaign.
To all Ruto haters & those who claim to be "Kips" aliases...I got easy word for you, hang yourself or Kiss his azz or mine!!.
Its a shame that Kikuyus voted Odinga out simply because he is a LUO nothing else! That is the truth no one wants to talk about. Otherwise there is no hell on earth they voted in a mega thief with allegedly kiambaa and IDP baggage on his shoulders. Time will tell. Kikuyus goose has been laid. Ngojeni!!
How can the opinion polls have been so wrong.A conman and his wingman will now recover 200 million that had been confiscated as the proceeds of theft.Punda imechoka it was time for another tribe at the helm .Two out of the 43 have taken Kenya backwards for another 5 years.
What destroyed Rao: Uhuru, BBI, skipped debate, Islam links, attack on Christianity, laziness, over reliance on deep state, old age, consistent loser tag, naps in rallies, fighting kalonzo, bad running mate, project tag, lack of creativity
🤢 🤮🤮🤮
