Chinese Woman in Kenya Charged with Stealing and Exporting Goat Testicles Worth Sh6 Million

A Chinese national was on Wednesday charged in a Kiambu court for stealing and exporting goat testicles worth over Sh6 million.

Lei Yunyan pleaded not guilty to the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Manuela Kinyanjui and was released on Sh500,000 cash bail or an alternative Sh1 million bond.

The court also ordered her to deposit her passport and travel documents with the court pending trial.

The charge sheet read that on diverse dates between September 1st, 2021, and November 23rd, 2022, by means of a fraudulent device, Yunyan obtained goat testicles worth Sh6,026,775 from one Marsa Goto Ado.

The prosecution opposed an application to free her on bond, arguing that being a foreigner she is likely to be a flight risk. But the accused urged the court to free her on bail since she was expectant.

The magistrate directed the matter to be mentioned on April 5th for further directions.

I might be naive but I do not see a crime here.Goats are not becoming extinct and whatever she chooses to do with those things in China well it is her business.Goat testicles are not in short supply nor is it a delicacy if anything people who purchase those less desirable meats help reduce food waste as long as they are not repackaging that same meat then importing it back here let the weird Asians eat weird stuff

Apparently she had already exported the balls... She got balls...It;s had to imagine stealing that many testacles ,considering their size.I guess the term" stealing" here many mean that its not acommon practise...

Now that we know there is value in goats balls, can we quickly create a legit business to import these . Government does not need to get involved in this lucrative business, just provide licenses.
