President William Ruto Receives Ghana's Highest Honor

President William Ruto's dedication to upholding accountability and due process has earned him Ghana's highest honour, the Companion of the Order of the Star of the Volta.

During a State banquet, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo commended Ruto as an exemplary leader of a new generation in Africa, applauding his steadfast commitment to principles of accountability and due process for all citizens, irrespective of their social standing. Moreover, Akufo-Addo highlighted Kenya's remarkable transformation under Ruto's leadership, citing the nation's adherence to the rule of law and its regained prominence on the global stage. This visit marks President Ruto's inaugural official trip to Ghana since assuming the presidency in September 2022, and it has strengthened bilateral ties between the two nations through the signing of seven agreements.

These agreements encompass various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between business associations from Kenya and Ghana, aiming to promote trade and investment. Additionally, the MoUs cover areas such as science and technology, tourism, education, governance, and defence, fostering cooperation in diverse sectors. Africa Continental Free Trade Area Secretary General Mene lauded President Ruto's exceptional leadership specifically his efforts in advancing inclusivity and economic integration throughout Africa. He stated, "President Ruto has demonstrated admirable leadership in driving progress on the continent, particularly in matters concerning inclusivity and the integration of our economies."

During a diaspora engagement forum in Accra on Tuesday evening, President William Ruto underscored the immense impact and invaluable contribution made by Kenyans residing abroad, particularly in fostering the well-being of their home nation. He singled out patriotism, diligence, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence as the driving forces behind their achievements and shared vision for prosperity. Ruto reiterated the pivotal role played by the diaspora in decolonizing, democratizing, and globalizing the Kenyan economy.

Addressing the gathering, the President expressed his profound confidence in the capabilities of Kenyans living and working in Ghana, stating, "I have no doubt in your capabilities as our people living and working here, because I know the Kenyan diaspora has long been a beacon of inspiration, demonstrating unwavering dedication to the well-being of our country."

Ruto is the biggest curse for the continent of Africa. Those awarding Ruto some ridiculous high honors are useless too. The biggest thief in the world getting awards for his conmanship and stupidity.
