Six bodies have today been discovered in an abandoned quarry pit near Kware Police Station in Mukuru, Nairobi.
This gruesome find has sent shockwaves through the local community with the identities of the deceased still unknown. The recovery operation was spearheaded by local youths who unearthed remains in various states of decomposition. Some bodies were found concealed in sacks while others have been dismembered. Law enforcement officials were present during the retrieval process but have yet to provide clarity on the circumstances surrounding these deaths. The lack of official information has fueled anxiety and speculation within the community.
This unsettling discovery comes against the backdrop of recent anti-Finance Bill protests that swept across the nation. The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) has raised alarm over alleged abductions by security forces. The commission claims that at least 34 individuals have been subjected to abduction and torture since mid-June, with five people still unaccounted for. These allegations have heightened concerns about potential state involvement in suppressing dissent during this tumultuous period. The government's response to these allegations has been met with scepticism by activists who accuse authorities of employing heavy-handed tactics against protesters.
Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has vehemently denied any wrongdoing by security agents and promised a thorough investigation into the abduction claims. Kindiki emphasized the government's commitment to protecting all Kenyans from arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances. However, accusations persist that state agents specifically targeted individuals who played influential roles in organizing the protests.
“We are committed to protecting every Kenyan from arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances. We will not tolerate impunity,” he declared.
Meanwhile, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA)has reported receiving 10 complaints of arrests, abductions and disappearances stemming from the anti-Finance Bill protests. The agency's chairperson Anne Makori states that these cases are at various stages of investigation and they have taken action on some of them. In eight of the cases, the victims disclose being subjected to harassment and torture, torture. Makori urges victims and witnesses to come forward and provide statements to facilitate prompt investigations.

Who will answer for the many lives lost and damped in Yala and Aberdare forest? Who will answer for Baby Pendo among others? You seem to have have worken up this evening.
Imara, you’re tribal ,self centered and paranoid. How would Ngina Kamau sheep compare to the other people who also died? You have intentionally ignore the deaths of the people slaughtered in Naivasha, Kisumu, baby Pendo, Robert Ouko, Pio, the Yala bodies and others.
You cannot keep blaming Chebukati. He did his job and Kenyans voted with their numbers.

RUTO MUST GO!
RUTO MUST GO!
Those must have been the masterminds of burning down the Parliament!!!
Sixty years after independence ,and we seem to be stagnant progress wise ,and at times going backwards.Given today's political, and economic atmosphere, some of you would be forgive if you cannot believe that at one time primary schools were given free text books, writing books, pencils, ink and pens. And Kenyatta Hospital truly dispensed free treatment.Yes,we had dispensaries that worked, and you did not have to pay for anything.Medication was free.
Yes what happened?Greed happened. leaders discovered that they could pocket the money for these services, and the masses would just grumble and deal with it...
Iam not impressed that we have SGR. Iam not impressed that we have hundreds of universities and colleges.I am not impressed that we have state of the art medical equipments. What will impress me is when the average mwananchi can work,or find work whenever he wants. What will impress me is when mwananchi gets free medication, and treatment at government hospitals. What will impress me is when our graduates have jobs lined up for them before they even graduate. And I would be greatly impressed,if I read that police force is the least corrupt entity in Kenya.
It's all about leadership.Yes, its all about the people we elect to serve us.So far they have failed us.But right now we have an opportunity to go back to where the government truly used to deliver on their promises. People in the know have told us that we collect enough revenue to meet all our financial needs. So Yes the government can deliver on its promises,so long as we elect men and women of integrity and honor. That is in addition to severely punishing those whose hands are caught in public coffers.
I surely hope that time to tolerate mediocrity, nepotism tribalism, and inefficiency is long gone, and replaced with meritocracy, accountability, responsibility, and fairness.
Samoei is not above the law. He should be arrested to answer for the many people who have lost their lives after he came to power about two years ago. We need to have other cases reopened and find out about:
1. The death of Chris Msando
2. Jacob Juma
3. Dada Carolyn Ngumbu who was killed along with Msando
4. All those responsible for stealing Ndugu Kamau Ngina Kamau's sheep and setting fire on his land.
5. Those responsible for the holocaust of Kiambaa P.C.E.A. Church in Eldoret
Had Wafula Wanyonyi Chebukati read Chapter 6 of the New Constitution of Kenya, Neither Raila nor Samoei and about 60% of the current elected members of the parliament would have passed the rigorous character test.
