Base on turnout, Uhuru will get more than 9 million votes. This compares favorably with the 8.2 million he received on august 8. That means a cosiderable NASA supporters abandoned their fanatical leader.

actually no the turnout was 6 million sans the 4 counties yet to vote if they at all do. Raila actually got some votes, see how he shot himself on the foot, maybe he could have gotten more than Unye we will never know

Given voter apathy and suppression due to violence witnessed up to the last minute, court battles running to the last hour, uncertainty over IEBC preparation and debacles, perceived retribution from neighbors, deficient thinking that "we are out of woods" since Rao is not in the race among other things largely contributed to low turnout. 6.5 Million under these duress is expected projection and performance. Another thing voting is not by default, however it is expected some will find the honor to politik that all registered voters that did not vote, "voted" for them-far from it. Even with the security provided around the voting zones, estates, streets, highways and hiways, the ultimate security is provided by citizens around us. The fear of what could possibly go wrong when queuing is real for all including the elderly, infirm, disabled, expectant and minorities.
I would imagine that even remotely walking from or in the direction of the polling centers required courage (even if your were headed or from your home). I guess today many had to take a long way round to create the illusion that they are quite allergic to voting ink! or Maybe walk backwards! Though voting is by secret ballot, the circumstance were different in this election. If you voted, everyone knew who you voted for by 99.9999% certainty-It was like blindfolded mlolongo voting!

Mr. Chebukati can you explain your 48% estimation, and keep in mind the fact that we have evidence from the ground which leads some of to conclude that the turn out was may be 30% if that and only in and around central. WHERE IS THAT TYRAnNY OF NUMBERS?

There is a difference between sham elections and free and fair elections.Elections are not Christmas decorations that you put up to impress your neighbors just like when you pimp up you Mazda and convince yourself you are now driving a Mercedes. The election was not representative of the masses thus it’s legitimacy will be questioned and there will be repercussions.Lets call a spade a spade.
