Hillary Clinton Edits Twitter Bio, Removes 'Wife' after Interview with Nigerian Writer

Former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has edited her Twitter bio following her interview with Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at a literary event in New York.

During the interview at the PEN World Voices festival last month, Adichie said she was upset with Clinton’s bio on the social media platform, where she described herself first as ‘wife’.

Hillary's Twitter bio at the time read, "Wife, mom, grandma, women+kids advocate, FLOTUS, Senator, SecState, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, 2016 presidential candidate’.

“In your Twitter account, the first word that describes you is wife. And then I think it’s mom, and then it’s grandmother,” Adichie said at the event.

“And when I saw that, I have to confess that I felt just a little bit upset. And then I went and I looked at your husband’s Twitter account, and the first word was not husband.”

Replying to the writer, Clinton said, “When you put it like that, I’m going to change it.” She, however, added that individuals should be able to describe their accomplishments in the manner they feel satisfied.

On Monday, the former US presidential candidate made good her promise and has changed her Twitter bio, which now reads, "2016 Democratic Nominee, SecState, Senator, hair icon. Mom, Wife, Grandma x2, lawyer, advocate, fan of walks in the woods & standing up for our democracy."

Nigerian writer interview?? Make no mistake I am not against 'Nigers' , but why on earth would someone be bothered by another who is a wife and they claim it on their social media handle or account, and it bothers somebody? Unless if there are some vested interests in the person,.....I wonder

Just Hillary being connish, wanting desperately to connect with average woman but failing miserably just like her presidential bid. The woman had no time for blacks then and no time now. Pretender at best.
