International Airlines Blacklist Miguna Miguna from Traveling to Kenya after Orders by Immigration Authorities
Self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has reportedly been placed on a blacklist circulated to international airlines that operate in Kenya.
An image allegedly from the Qatar Airways indicated that the Immigration authorities issued the order on Wednesday, May 23rd.
The order comes barely a week after the fiery lawyer was nominated as Nairobi Deputy Governor by Governor Mike Sonko. The position fell vacant after the resignation of former holder Polycarp Igathe.
" Per the update received from the Kenyan Immigration authorities, the below customer is not permitted to enter Kenya and has been blacklisted by the Kenyan authorities, " the notice reads and goes further to state Miguna's name and passport number.
"Staff to be vigilant and ensure the above customer is not accepted to travel on nay flights to Kenya," the notice by Qatar Airways further reads.
Miguna was scheduled to return to Kenya on May 16th, but cancelled the trip citing Immigration Department's refusal to issue him with a Kenyan passport as ordered by the court.
"I was determined to arrive home on schedule, however, just before my departure, I reluctantly cancelled my flight to Nairobi and postponed my next arrival date,” said Miguna.
“In view of the refusal by the Department of Immigration to issue me with a valid Kenyan passport and facilitate my unconditional re-entry into Kenya as ordered by the High Court and formally requested by the Kenya National Commission for Human Rights on my behalf, and on advice from legal counsel, I have instructed my advocates to immediately bring to the attention of the court the continued willful contempt of its orders.”
Miguna said he would announce his new return date after the court issues further directions in the citizenship saga. The State has insisted that Miguna is a Canadian national and must apply afresh for him to regain his Kenyan citizenship.

@Jeri, you made a very good point. Miguna Miguna is a immigration lawyer who doesn't know immigration laws. As I have said in my previous comments Miguna Miguna is a egomaniac who is only concerned with his own self. Putting him in a no flight to Kenya is the best decision Kenya government could have made. Miguna is a security threat to the entire territory of Kenya. He has threatened to overthrow the legally elected government of Kenya(It's all in record) and has openly supported terrorism. He has also declared himself head of a terrorist organization, the so called National Resistance Movement(NRM) that was responsible for the death of hundreds of Kenyan during last year's presidential election. He also swear Raila as a president of Kenya, a treasonable act, even though Kenya has an elected President, His Excellence President Uhuru Kenyatta. Miguna Miguna owes an apology to the Kenya government for what he has put it through. Miguna also owes it a thankful note for being so kind to him. Had Miguna behaved the way he did in another country other than Kenya(even his own country of Canada) he would either be in jail or dead. The Kenya government has been so nice to him because it recognizes he has psychiatric problems. By denying him entry to Kenya it hopes the Canadian government will also recognize his physic problems and offer him the necessary health treatments he so desperately needs.

As long as Matiangi , Bonnetti, and Kihalangwa continue to defy the court order that requires them to issue Miguna a New Kenyan Passport, Kenya will continue behaving as a "Banana Republic!"
I ask all the Kenyan people to defy any court order until the thugs listed above OBEY court orders. No one is above the law!
Matiangi and Bonnetti should be fired for running the most incompetent, inefficient, and corrupt arm of the Kenya government. Why are they being paid for their gross inefficiency, arrogance and their defying of court orders?

The law doesn't apply to those not on Kenyan soil. Have you ever wondered why Al Qaeda prisoners are housed in Guantanamo bay, Cuba and not in any prison on US soil? This ensures that they cannot use the US court system. Miguna is no different in the eyes of the Kenya government.

In this case the judge is not well versed in the immigration laws, all miguna has to do is get his citizenship reestablished, and then apply for a passport, nobody can issue him a new passport without him filling out the necessary forms and pay the fee, i think that is simple enough.

Why is Miguna being penalized while Raila, the man who took the oath of office is dining with his associate hand shaker and new friend Uhuru?
Kihalangwa, Bonnetti and Matiangi, do you have any single gram of conscience and humanity left in you? If you do, please arrest Raila's, take his passport and do to it what you did to the one of Miguna. You should also deport Raila to Canada and present his name to all the airlines flying to Kenya. After all, the man who administered his oath of office lives in Canada.
Please Bonnetti, Kihalangwa, and Matiangi to be fair, arrest all the people who attended the oath taking ceremony, snatch their passports and national ID's and deport them elsewhere.

@Amadiba, Miguna got his Kenyan passport and Id illegally. What is hard for you to understand there. Nobody was allowed to be dual citizen in Kenya when Miguna used late Kajwang get pp & Id through the backdoor. Anything that is done illegally is VOID and NULL.

This is what Kenyans know, regardless of tribe, party affiliation or geographic location. These are facts that are already in the public domain.
1. Miguna was cleared to run for governor in 2017
2. He was also an advisor to prime minister before, meaning; he held public office.
3. He was born in Kenya, Nyanza district to be precise.
Some people wants us to believe that he renounced his citizenship in 2010. I don’t think the Nairobi cartels would let him run for office if that was true.
However, as any other responsible and sensible Kenyan, please provide verifiable facts and data. People will believe you.
Fast forward... his house was bombed! Then driven to Kajiado incommunicado out of jurisdiction for no apparent reason. Court orders disobeyed. Sedated and humiliated in public, then literally shipped out like cargo to Dubai. Surely, this is how low we can get? It is sad.
Uhuru and Raila are not being sincere (I share this particular opinion with many) bringing back Miguna is non-negotiable. The guy is Kenyan and we shouldn’t have this debate.
Governor Sonko nominated Miguna for the same notion of handshake, to our surprise on May 23rd, 2017 Miguna’s name got blacklisted on all airlines coming to Kenya.
Kenyans also know that the 2017 election was not transparent and fair.Otherwise Msandos killers would be found and brought to justice and the server can also be opened. These are some things the government can do in the name of handshake.
Instead, a fresh round of looting has just began. Maize farmers being shortchanged, Sonko is experiencing difficulties because July is around the corner—-tenderizing season. This is a dysfunctional country not until people rise up.
