President Uhuru Receives New Generation Firearm License

President Kenyatta has become one of the first Kenyans to be issued with the new generation firearm license.

This is in compliance with a directive issued last year by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

“Today I received my new generation firearm license smart card and certificate from the Firearms Licensing Board after undergoing the due certification process and obtaining a unique identification number,”  President Kenyatta says.

KENYATTA RECEIVES NEW GUN PERMIT

All Kenyan firearm holders are required to apply for the new license by March 18th, 2019.

The Firearm Licensing Board will capture all details of the firearm holder in a newly developed microchip card.

Licensed firearm holders are required to carry with them the card that has his/her image and must produce it when prompted by the authorities.

The new regulation aims at improving national security as far as firearm ownership and its use by private citizens is concerned.

Kenyan firearm holders will be vetted afresh before being issued with the new gun permits.

Firearms holders without the new license will be considered to be holding them illegally.

Only in banana republics do presidents take pride in owning a gun to protect themselves. Have you no shame or are you so stupid as to declare the country you lead so unsafe the people have to get guns. Pathetic! Pombe tu!

He has become "Sokonised" like Lumumba would say! Well done, Mr President, for glorifying firearm to our youth. Go activate the big five then let's talk...all this idleness is clearly not on!
